“Animal R&R” was produced for KPBS San Diego and received five Regional Emmy nominations.
In episode one, the rehabilitators treat a skunk caught in a rat trap and an opossum with the sniffles, while the vet does more than ruffle the tailfeathers of a red-tailed hawk — she plucks them out!
